1 in 8 Breast Cancer Support Group meets second Mondays at 5:30 at the CAA office.
The Sexy Broads Support Group for women with cancers "below the waist," including reproductive, colorectal and urological, meets second Wednesdays at 2 p.m. at the CAA office.
"Heads Up" is a new support group to meet the needs of cancer patients that are or have battled head, neck, throat and thyroid cancers. The kick off meeting will take place on December 13 from 1 - 5 pm at CAA and will feature speakers such as Dr. T. Julian Way! The regular meets will be lead by Andra Looper, who is a thyroid cancer survivor as well as a counselor.
The Upstate Monarchs Lymphedema Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Cancer Association. For information, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 214-6006. The Anderson contact is Kathy Garraty at 225-6784 or email email@example.com.

In addition to these groups, AnMed Health hosts support groups for men with prostate cancer (Man to Man, meets third Mondays at 6:30 p.m.) and for patients with any cancer diagnosis (every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.), at the AnMed Health Cancer Center, 2000 E. Greenville Street. We list these meetings in our monthly patient newsletter.
